Makin up for lost time I guess is what I've been doing =)

Yesterday I spent a good amount of my day uptown (hence my facebook status) at the Linda Mccartney exhibit in the fuller building near Madison Avenue. From 57th street, I walked back to union square, and helped a group of kids make signs about peace. On the way home from the city, we stopped at the tile store to pick up his order. Next to the tile store was a house that caught my eye somehow. Literally minutes after we walked in the door and I stuffed my face with grilled eggplant and walnuts (yea... lol) Pop and I hopped back in his ride to drop me off in Millestone at my cousins' house. Me, Vincent, Alessandra, and our buddies: Tori, Missy, and Nikki were headed to Secaucus. In secaucus, which is one spot where my pops used to run a salon, Missy's daughter, Gabby, danced back-up for an aspiring pop singer at the Meadow-lands fair. I'm happy to have met miss Gabby De La Paz not too long ago. She dances as sweet as her personality and I love being in her company. After she performed we all enjoyed the fair together.

Memorial Day Weekend...

My Pop had been mentioning throughout the week heading to the beach the four of us:me, lil bro sal, and mamma. He was content for the 5 beautiful (for me atleast... no sunburn ;)) hours with his fishing pole although he caught nothing. I think Ma enjoyed taking the sun until she got burned by the sun that has become a scorcher all at once this year, like it did last year. Salli boi hates going to the beach typically, he was happy to get home, unlike myself, who could've stayed day collecting thousands pf beautiful rocks and shells to add to the collection I've had since I was a lil one. The night before the clan and I headed to the beach Sal was at Andrew's and it was once again in a long time Ma, Pop, and myself looking for a place to go on a Friday night. It felt long to me anyways. After I worked out that day, they were on the road and they called me asking me if I'd like to grab a bite to eat out. I suggested South Street Seaport...when in doubt, you know take any chance I get to get into the city, my real home. It was a beautiful night downtown; Ma and I got hennas after we enjoyed a great dinner seated outside an Italian resturant that played Latin music all night long as visitors of all sorts walked the cobblestoned streets in which I think represent Manhattan's relaxed, slow paced side for the wonder about who must've walked along those ancient stones can slow anybody down all for good intentions, perhaps to reflect a little, like I am now.
